My name is Mira Devi.

I recently joined the community, but I’ve already felt the warmth of human hearts.
I like it here. And I want to grow and develop here. Right now, I’m taking my first steps: sketching — soon it will get interesting. Stay with me.
My story begins.

THE CONNECTION BETWEEN US

I know for sure that every person reading these words — absolutely each of us — shares something in common that unites us all.
This connection makes us like family — even closer than family.

You’ll understand what I mean if you subscribe to my community. Here, I will share knowledge and experience, and there will also be an art gallery where you can see my works and the works of my artist friends.

MY PATH IN ART

Despite having studied the history of many art forms in depth, I feel like I’m only just beginning my journey in painting. Previously, I had very few moments of practical experience in drawing.

But my world has always been steeped in art.
From early childhood until now, my whole life has been true art.

CHILDHOOD AND TALENTS

From a very young age, many talents were noticed in me. I was invited to study a wide variety of disciplines. And of course, art was not left behind.

At the age of 7, when I started elementary school, I was simultaneously invited to attend several specialized art schools.

The most vivid memories are of the invitations related to music — where they discovered I had absolute pitch, like a young Mozart.
And I was the only girl from my school invited to study at a ballet academy — one of the best in the world.

PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION AND A CHANGE OF PATH

The choice was made in favor of music. At 18, I completed professional music education that allowed me to teach.

However, I had to stop pursuing further qualifications and switch to completely different fields of activity.

And since I cannot live without continuous learning, throughout my working years I kept pursuing one professional education after another.

In the more than 25 years since completing my music education, I’ve studied a wide range of disciplines and achieved success in my professional career.

The stack of red diplomas (with honors) kept growing, my career was advancing — but I still felt restless and unfulfilled.

Eventually, I realized that no matter what I did, there was always an internal struggle — between what I truly wanted to do and what could earn me money to survive in this world.

And that’s why I never gave up hope of finding a way back to art.

INSPIRATION FROM A FRIEND

A few years ago, a friend of mine - who had an art education but, like me, had to leave art behind due to life circumstances and pursue a completely different path -rediscovered the world of painting.

Moreover, he found a community of like-minded people and made many friends around the world.

And it changed his life for the better because he saw how many people of art unite. It’s wonderful, truly amazing. Over the years spent here, he changed a lot — he became an even kinder and more caring friend.

That made me curious — what is it that draws him so strongly to this place?
Recently, we met, and he told me why he loves this community so much.
When he left, he let me borrow his drawing tablet for a couple of days so I could try it… And…)))

WHAT ART MEANS TO ME

Let me begin with what art means to me.

For me, any form of art — whether it’s painting or music — is a way for the creator to express what they feel, to give physical form to their emotions.

Even more importantly, it’s a way to share love with others through creative expression.

THE UNIVERSAL LAWS OF CREATIVITY

Of course, there are canons and principles for creating artworks — combinations of sounds or colors — and those principles are universal.

They are similar across disciplines, even in martial arts, which I also study.

Only the form of expression into material differs.

ATMOSPHERE AND STATE OF MIND

For drawing or playing a musical instrument, it’s just as important (at least for me))) to create an atmosphere where the body can relax and the hands are free to create…

And when you are filled with love and joy inside, that state will be felt by anyone who sees or hears the results of that process - whether it’s a painting that makes us stop and admire the beauty of its lines, the richness of its colors, or its minimalism and clarity…

Or music that makes you want to sing or dance, or dive into thought and feeling.
The mood during the act of creation — that’s what defines so much.

That’s what the creator passes on to others.

THE BIRTH OF AN ARTIST

Now, you are becoming witnesses to a new facet of me — one that is forming into an artist.

This is going to be the music of my Soul, which has now found eyes to look at this world and transfer a part of itself into a painting…

I’m only just beginning to master the tools of an artist, but modern technology and tools truly help make magic happen.

ABOUT PEOPLE AND LIGHT

I’ve realized that here — as everywhere — there are many good people.

People who want to bring something kind into this world. People who want to share love.

And that this is a space where people are able to see the light of the soul in others through paintings.

THE FIRST WORK

Next time, I’ll show you my first work. What will it be? Who knows. I’m just learning.
Where my imagination will take me, even I do not know yet.

For now, it’s just ideas, sketches, waiting for the chance to become something whole.

But I know one thing for sure — I want you to feel love when you look at my paintings.

After all, is there really anything that matters more than love?

LOVE AND ART

Love and art — how close they are.

Art without love is empty, and in its essence, it’s not even art anymore — because there is no life in it.

But love, through art, can fill hearts.

I’m a musician, and I know how love flows through music.

Now I will try to share my love with you through painting.

I wish for everyone to become love themselves.

It’s so wonderful — I feel pure joy simply from the fact that I’ve returned to painting again.
